Guidelines for abstract submissions

Oral and Poster Presentations

  • Each participant may submit up to one abstract as a single author and one abstract as first author, either for the main session or for the workshops. They may also be included as co-author in one additional submission.
  • Abstracts can be submitted for either oral or poster presentation; the Organising Committee reserves the right to propose poster presentation for abstracts originally submitted for oral presentation but not recommended as such by the reviewers.
  • Abstracts, in Greek or English, should be submitted as Word (doc / docx) or RTF documents.
  • The documents must be formatted as follows:
    • Paper size: A4
    • Font: Times New Roman
    • Font size: 11 pt
    • Line spacing: 1.5 pt
    • Margins: 2.5 cm
    • One full line should be inserted between the title and the body of the text and another between the text and the references.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 600 words excluding references.

Founded in 1837, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) is the oldest university in Greece and the eastern Mediterranean. It is one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Southeast Europe, with a long tradition of excellence in the humanities and social sciences. The conference will take place at the Modern Greek Language Teaching Center in Zografou Campus.
